Unique Custom Invitations

Everyone knows I love a great THEME. I love coming up with themes for parties and really working on details to revolve around it. So it is so much fun for me when I am asked to come up with a custom invitation for a cool party. My most current project was for some close friends of ours. Their daughter's third birthday is coming up, and they are throwing an adorable "bug" party in their backyard. Now I can't take all the credit for this invite because they actually wrote the poem themselves, and it's pretty cute :)
The other invitation I have wanted to post for quite awhile. My best friend's brother had an awesome destination wedding and a big reception/party here at home when they returned. Couldn't post this one too early because too many people would have tried to crash this bash :) I wasn't able to go, but I heard it was a great time. This design was totally outside the realm of what I normally do, which I LOVED. The party was at a farm, but they didn't want a cheesy barn or cowboy themed invite. This one was inspired by the country music posters you see downtown, specifically Hatch Show Prints. (Check them out downtown if you ever have the opportunity.) I tried to give it that imperfect look that you only get from a real letterpress.
